Originally from San Jose, California, John graduated from the San Diego Golf Academy in April 2006 with a certificate in Advanced Teaching. John then started his teaching career with the Jim McLean Golf School. He has had the opportunity to observe and take lessons from many top 100 instructors including Jim McLean, Ben Doyle, Carl Welty, Bryan Lebedevitch and Jerry Mowlds. John works with the top 3 players on the La Quinta High School team and enjoys working with players of all abilities.  John teaches at PGA West year round and is excited to be apart of the PGA West Golf Academy. He prides himself on a simplistic approach to golf instruction and is dedicated to moving his students’ game to the next level.
